If you’re a photographer – or just a viewer – you’ll know that the ability of someone to “Photoshop” an image to have it display something different from what was visible through the camera lens has come a long way. So far, in fact, that most of us realize that the “photographic record” is probably an oxymoron.<\/p>\n

Of course, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. You can do wonderful things with your photos by manipulating them. What you end up with in a photograph is often not what you were seeing – at least not the scene that you remember. Playing with the light and shadows, colours, etc. can often recreate something closer to what you were hoping to capture.<\/p>\n

If you’re the type that likes that sort of thing, prepare yourself for the next “really cool” step. Photoshop is readying a new tool called Content Aware that brings the ability to fine tune images to a whole new level. To see what I mean, watch this video<\/a> on YouTube. <\/p>\n
